About Our Personnel Team

At Lord Williams’s School, our Personnel Team plays an important role in developing a supportive and effective working environment for all staff. We are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining high-calibre professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional education and care to our students. We support an employee body of over 300 staff, equally split between teachers and support staff across 2 school sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment & Selection: Collaborate with Department Heads to manage the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with safer recruitment practices and equal opportunities.

• Payroll & Contract Management: Administer contractual changes and ensure payroll records are accurately updated accurately.

• Absence Management: Record and monitor staff absences, supporting with case work and manage the support staff leave entitlement scheme.

• Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employment policies and procedures, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

• Compliance & Safeguarding: Ensure adherence to employment legislation and safeguarding requirements, maintaining a safe and supportive environment for both staff and students.

• Administrative Support: Oversee Personnel administrative tasks, including record-keeping, contract management and reporting.
