This is a hands on role within the Facilities Department. You must be able to work well as part of a supportive team as well as use your own initiative. The post holder will be required to carry out basic caretaking tasks such as emptying bins as well as, portering, locking, unlocking, room set up and clear down and they will look after our key community users on a Saturday. In addition, basic practical skills such as painting, decorating and gardening with the willingness to expand knowledge in these areas would be desirable.
Experience of caretaking and/or working in a school is desirable but not essential.
Grade 4 £9.55 to £9.74 per hour
Actual starting salary £10,956 – £11,175 per annum
22 hours per week, full time throughout the year
3 days per week including Saturday
8am to 4:30pm (1 hour for lunch) on two days a week
8am to 4:00pm on a Saturday (1 hour for lunch)
