Various Thame Businesses have been nominated for Muddy Stilettos Awards.
Muddy Stilettos first tottered into the world in 2011 as a way for journalist Hero Brown (Independent on Sunday, The Observer, Red, Marie Claire, Elle) to find out the fun stuff to do in Bucks & Oxon, having moved out of London that summer with husband and baby son in tow.
Quickly Muddy Stilettos caught on locally to become the ultimate ‘urban guide to the countryside’ – a witty, super-useful insider’s guide to the very best food, walks, boutiques, day trips, hotels, interiors and events for smart, fun-loving women living outside London.
A extract from the Muddy Stilettos website about the winners is below:
“First of all, a massive thank you to everyone who has taken part so far in the Muddy Stiletto Awards this year – we’ve seen an incredible rise of 100 per cent of readers nominating on the Awards compared to last year, so you’re clearly in love with local too!
I’m always a bit conflicted at this point in the Awards.
It’s super-fun to discover cool indie businesses, and see which village or town is having its ‘moment’ – Winslow, looks like it’s you this year! And I love telling the excited Finalists they’ve made it through. But there are so many incredible businesses whose journey stops today (though get in touch if you think we should be featuring you anyway – I’m all ears!).
The Finals are LIVE NOW and come and go in just 7 days, so if you love a local business and want to give it a pat on the back, head to the Awards site and do your bit before it slips your mind (yeah, I know what you’re like) because the Finalist with the most votes will be crowned Winner.
Right, that’s enough from me! Time to meet the Finalists. Who gets your vote?”
Thame have the below finalists:
Fitch and Fellows
The Book House
The Delia At No.5
Alice Radford Photography
Deb Porter Photography
