The Red Kite Family Centre provides activities, advice and support for all families with 0-4yr olds. There is open and free access to all core activities to enable all to be included. They are entirely dependent on grants and donations to keep running. The centre is staffed by experienced professionals working in partnership with colleagues from the NHS. The centres in Thame and Chinnor are now managed by a community based charity and cost about £70,000 a year to run.
The work of the Family Centre is greatly valued by the hundreds of parents and children that come and also by many of the wider community. The Red Kite Family Centre are asking those who can afford to make a small regular contribution to the work of the RKFC, to join the Friends scheme and help secure their future and enable them to serve our community for coming years. The trustees are determined to ensure that this valuable service and support for the ever-growing number of parents with young children in our area can continue.
Becoming a Friend
For as little as £5 a month you can become a ‘Friend’. The Friends scheme is open to everyone who wants to support RKFC, not just parents. In return for becoming a Friend, you will receive many benefits including a 20% discount on a subscription package at Thame Leisure Centre and a 10% discount on centre bookings at RKFC, and more!
