As part of the nation’s commemoration of the Centenary of the Armistice of WW1, Oxfordshire County Council has partnered with The Woodland Trust for a project of lasting remembrance. Thame Town Council has been given an oak sapling and a commemorative plaque to go alongside it. On Friday 9 Novmber, the Mayor of Thame planted this on the boundary of Southern Road Recreation Ground and Cuttle Brook Nature Reserve.
