Used Bike Sale @ John Hampden Primary School
  • Bring in any unwanted bikes from 9am
  • Tell us how much you want to sell them for (the PTFA takes 25% off the top)
  • Fill in a label with the price, your name and phone number and tie to the bike
  • We do the rest leaving you free to browse amongst the other bikes and pick up the next size up bargain bike for your child. Or one ofr you

It’s green, it’s economical and it’s fun!

 

All unsold bikes must be collected and taken back by the owners at the end of the event.

Thame Carnival @ Thame Town Centre/Southern Road Recreation Ground

This year Thame Carnival is raising money for the Red Kite Family Centre and Thame Youth Projects. The theme is ‘Save the Planet’ and plans are well underway to ensure this event is bigger and better than ever – so why not support the local community, and boost the profile of your business, by putting a team together to create a float – the best float takes home a trophy for the year!

STANDARD THAME CARNIVAL DAY ITINERARY

Please note that the carnival itinerary is not set in stone.  Anyone can join the organising team and anyone can suggest new ideas.  So please do join us on 27th March.

 ********** PARADE 12PM – 1PM **********

THEME : SAVE THE PLANET
(THAME TOWN CENTRE)

We hope that more groups of people, whether organisations, estates, roads, friends will consider entering a float this year.

***** FETE 1PM – 4:30PM & DOG SHOW 1PM – 4PM *****
(SOUTHERN ROAD RECREATION GROUND)

Activities  expected : Massive Bouncey Castle, Egg throwing, Duck fishing, Learn an instrument, Go Karts, Bottle Tombola, Lionel the ride-on train, Retro games, Life-saver demonstrations, Aunt Sally, Mini rugby, Meet the Fire service, Stiltwalkers.  Lots of other kids stalls.

Arena and stage: The Dan Blasor MC, Fire service obstacle course, Dancing, Student music showcase

Refreshments expected : Licensed Bar, Pimms Tent, Ice cream, Burgers, Gin stall, Pizza, Frozen Yoghurt, Pork baps, Chilli Dogs, Grill, Hot donuts, North Indian and Caribbean hot food, Cakes, Tea and Coffee

(If you are a stall holder looking to book a stall please contact thamecarnival@gmail.com first with details of what you sell before booking so that we can ensure that we only have 1 of each type of refreshment on offer).

 

Last year the 4 Thame schools were the recipients of the profits from the Carnival 2018.

This year it has been decided that the receiving charities will be The Red Kite Family Centre and the Thame Youth Projects.
