On 29 June 1957 the last BR passenger trains ran between Princes Risborough & Chinnor (and Watlington).
To commemorate 60 years since BR passenger closure we are delighted to say that thanks to our fantastic friends at Didcot Railway Centre, the historic Edwardian period Steam Railmotor No. 93 and Trailer will be working our services.
The Steam Railmotor and Trailer trains will depart Chinnor at 10.00, 11.25, 12.30, 13.50, 14.55 and 16.00. Because the Steam Railmotor and Trailer car has limited capacity the number of tickets issued will be strictly regulated and sold in advance, see website for full details.
There is a large free car park, cafe and souvenir shop available at Chinnor station. For more information about the railway and other activities please see our website. We very much look forward to seeing you on our 60 Years since BR Passenger Closure and thank you for your support.
