The new shop will be taking residence at 2 Cornmarket and joins a fleet of other stores on the High Street, bringing with it several new jobs. The British lifestyle brand, known for its smart-casual clothing has been trading in Devon for almost 25 years, starting out from the back of a windsurfing shop in Salcombe. What is Open Doors? In 2015 Thame High Street Car Park, and the Chamber in the Town Hall, were filled with local companies opening their doors to the public. A big farm tractor, a fork lift truck, diggers and mowers filled the High Street and drew in the crowds. Printing technology, interactive digital signage, and a host of service providers including marketing consultants and event organisers, were all on display and engaging with the public. People learned about companies they never knew existed, employers met with previous and retired employees, students became aware of future employment options, and the businesses themselves found new contacts and networking opportunities.
